[Remote] Electrical Engineer (Remote)

AEC Resources is a growing multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm, seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a fully remote position. The role involves designing electrical systems for a diverse range of projects while providing opportunities for leadership and project management development.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems commercial building projects, water treatment, and wastewater treatment
- Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Perform electrical engineering calculations and system analyses
- Coordinate designs with civil, structural, and mechanical engineering teams
- Manage project tasks, schedules, budgets, and client communications
- Support construction administration activities and respond to contractor questions
- Collaborate with clients, municipalities, and project stakeholders throughout project execution
- Mentor junior staff and progressively assume greater project leadership responsibilities
Skills
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with water and wastewater facilities including treatment plants, pump stations, wells, lift stations, and SCADA systems
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), instrumentation, and controls
- Experience designing power distribution, lighting, and special systems for building projects
- Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills
