[Remote] Full Stack Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Damco Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to work across the entire stack, modernizing and maintaining a large-scale, high-availability system. This role is crucial for enhancing public services and transportation efficiency through technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize full stack components across all layers: data, application, front-end, and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational tolling services and system integrations
- Migrate and modernize legacy components to scalable, cloud-ready architectures
- Implement and support messaging and event-driven systems (RabbitMQ)
- Work with DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments and support CI/CD
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and automated UI tests
- Document APIs, workflows, and system integrations using Open API / Swagger
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability
- On-call support team rotation
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience building and supporting full stack .NET applications
- Deep understanding of relational databases and T-SQL optimization
- Experience working with legacy systems and modernizing to .NET Core or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with asynchronous messaging patterns (RabbitMQ a plus)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
