[Remote] Full Stack Software Developer (Android focus)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Randstad Digital Americas is seeking a passionate and driven Full Stack Software Developer to join their NAD Industrial Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to engineer innovative tools for the Staples Vision Application platform, with opportunities for long-term contributions and contract extensions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale robust Android applications alongside integrated web features
- Formulate and implement clean database solutions focusing deeply on MySQL architectures
- Provide key technical guidance and problem-solving support to surrounding engineering team members
- Travel 5-15% countrywide per year to support regional project deployments and cross-team collaboration
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven proficiency in native Android engineering utilizing Kotlin, Java, MVVM, and Android Studio
- Strong background building and calling JSON, GSON, and REST-based APIs alongside version control (Git)
- Exceptional communication and soft skills with an innate ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Domain experience within Supply Chain operations
- Hands-on exposure to Django, Vue.js, or web-sockets architecture
- Understanding of cloud-native ecosystems including Kubernetes and Azure DevOps
