[Remote] Lead Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through construction, managing project teams, budgets, schedules, and client coordination
- Design and oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy modeling systems, including engineering calculations, equipment selection, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and quality requirements through interdisciplinary coordination, site visits, and technical reviews
- Mentor engineering staff, assign project work, enhance engineering standards and processes, and foster strong client relationships
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- PE license
- 5–10 years of mechanical engineering experience with demonstrated project and team leadership
- Expertise in mechanical building systems
- Engineering design
- Code compliance

- Proficient in Revit
