[Remote] Lidar Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PEAK Technical Staffing USA is seeking a mid to senior-level Lidar Analyst with expertise in lidar data processing. The role involves processing and analyzing lidar data, performing quality control, and generating lidar-derived products.
Responsibilities
- Process and analyze lidar data efficiently and accurately
- Perform point classification and quality control checks
- Generate and manage various lidar-derived products
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as the USGS Lidar Base Specification
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in lidar data processing
- Proficiency in TerraSolid products, Global Mapper, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS
- Strong understanding of lidar data formats and derived product formats
- Knowledge of industry standards such as the USGS Lidar Base Specification is an asset
