[Remote] Professional Accountant (Remote in US)

As a Professional Accountant, you will assist the Revenue team with monthly revenue and billing entries, create and update reporting, and assist with reconciliations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with accrual and invoice entries, including outreach to business teams
  • Assist in the creation and updating of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, mostly in Excel spreadsheets
  • Assists with variance analysis and account reconciliation
  • Assists with internal and external audit requests and questions
  • Will learn and comply with HIPPA privacy and security rules
  • Will be a team player, able to communicate clearly with all levels of co-workers but able to work independently
  • May need to work extended time during monthly close in order to meet deadlines

Skills

  • Proficient in working in spreadsheets with Pivot tables and multiple formulas
  • Good communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on revenue preferred
  • Previous experience or willingness to learn PeopleSoft
