[Remote] Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Provn is a healthcare technology company focused on innovative solutions for medical practices. The Software Engineer role involves building and maintaining user-facing interfaces while also engaging in full-stack development, collaborating across product and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- You'll build and maintain the user-facing interfaces and features that practitioners rely on, and that work is a steady part of the job rather than the occasional ticket
- It runs across the full stack too: you'll develop and maintain applications in PHP and Laravel, write clean and testable code, take part in code reviews, and support deployment and maintenance on the cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
- You'll work alongside senior engineers and across product, design, and engineering through the full development lifecycle
- You lead with the interface, thinking first about what the practitioner sees and does, and you can follow a feature all the way down to the back-end logic behind it
- You use AI coding assistants with judgment: writing clear, specific prompts, reading the output critically, and catching the subtle bug, security gap, or outdated pattern before it ships
Skills
- Experience in front-end development
- Ability to develop and maintain applications in PHP and Laravel
- Experience writing clean and testable code
- Participation in code reviews
- Support deployment and maintenance on the cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience using Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Ability to think critically about user interfaces and back-end logic
- Experience using AI coding assistants effectively
