[Remote] Senior Fire Protection Designer - Remote/Hybrid (LSNA-PA/OH/NC/IN/TX/VA)

They are seeking a Senior Fire Protection Designer to work on projects that involve state of the art industrial and commercial facilities, where the individual will be responsible for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks and collaborate with a multi-discipline team.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks
- Gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule
- Review vendor drawings
- Execute fire protection and fire alarm systems designs
- Develop design estimates
Skills
- Associate's degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
- At least 8+ years of CAD drafting/design experience with manufacturing projects
- Strong experience using Revit
- NICET II - Water-Based Systems Layout
- Experience in 3D fire protection modeling and hydraulic software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
