[Remote] Technical Project Manager

Pacer Group is seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Project Manager to lead mission-critical technology projects from initiation through delivery. This remote role requires a high-level communicator who will manage complex cross-functional efforts and ensure project milestones are met with precision.
Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Ownership: Define, execute, and monitor project plans; manage scope and resources to ensure delivery within budget and timeline constraints
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the critical bridge between technical engineering teams, product development, sales, and client relationship groups
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks, assist in technical problem resolution, and implement mitigation strategies
- Strategic Integration: Manage system integration efforts, including vendor/subcontractor task tracking and product customization to meet unique client requirements
- Process Optimization: Conduct thorough project closure activities, including post-implementation reviews, and recommend process improvements to close identified project management gaps
Skills
- 11+ years of proven experience in managing end-to-end technical project lifecycles
- Expertise in project initiation: identifying contractual obligations, stakeholder needs, and resource mapping
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and cross-functional deliverables
- Strong risk management skills, including issue resolution and proactive mitigation strategies
- Excellent communication skills, serving as the primary liaison between technical and non-technical business stakeholders
- Experience in the financial services industry (FinTech) or large-scale enterprise system integration
- Proficiency in vendor/subcontractor management and third-party product integration
- Experience conducting post-implementation reviews and optimizing project management processes
- Strong presentation skills for delivering status updates to leadership and external clients
- Experience navigating complex corporate environments with multiple cross-functional teams
